This document provides you with the Privacy Statement for Skillsfile, the E-portfolio system from Cskills Awards. Cskills Awards provides awards, assessment and training support services and is a division of Construction Industry Training Board, otherwise known as ConstructionSkills.

Use of this website by you constitutes acceptance by you of this Privacy Statement. If you are not willing to accept this Privacy Statement please leave this website immediately.

This privacy statement governs the website at www.skillsfile.org. This statement does not cover links within this website to websites that are not maintained by ConstructionSkills.

User Information

ConstructionSkills will measure and analyse user information related to our website. For that purpose, on the basis of your IP Address, Internet traffic data and data on your browser type and PC are collected, among other things. We will not use the data to identify you personally. When we collect personal information relating to users of the website, such as during competitions or for the provision of electronic newsletters, we will provide specific conditions about the use of such information at the point of collection. ConstructionSkills does not sell, trade or rent your personal information obtained from the use of the website to others. ConstructionSkills may provide aggregate statistics about our sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personal data. None of the information can be traced to an individual.

Your Personal Data

ConstructionSkills (The Construction Industry Training Board, registered charity number 264289) will use your personal data.

Your personal data is information which identifies and relates to you and includes information we obtain directly from you or from third parties, or as a result of our relationship with you in our capacity as an Industrial Training Board and/or in providing goods and services to you.

We may use your personal data for any purposes related to Vocational Qualifications or training courses and for any other purposes connected with Construction Industry Training Board's role as an Industrial Training Board and/or in providing goods and services to you.

We may disclose your personal data to third parties (including but not limited to our service providers or agents e.g. your employer, or funding bodies, and in particular in relation to the use of Skillsfile, we will make your data available to training providers who may be offering you training and support) for the purposes outlined above, but we will not otherwise pass your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

If we transfer your information to a third party in another country we will make sure they agree to apply the same levels of protection as we are required to apply to information held in the UK and that they use your information only for the purposes outlined above.

You have a right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you (for which we may charge a small fee) and to correct any inaccuracies in your data.

If you give us information about another person, you hereby confirm that the other person has appointed you to act on his/her behalf and has agreed that you can give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of his/her personal data.
